January 2014 - Tips, eNews and More

Happy New Year!

We hope your holidays were full of good cheer!

Now that you're back in the swing of things, are you keeping to your New Year's resolutions? If you need some help, remember to keep it simple, measurable and specific. The New Year is a great time to make positive changes, but remember, there is no bad time for positive change! If you slip a little and fall back on a resolution, don't worry, just pick up from where you are and start again. You have the whole year ahead of you. If your resolution was worth considering in December, there is no reason to wait until next year.

As we mentioned in December, your health benefits are usually based on a calendar year. If you have any outstanding dental work to be completed, or if you are maintaining an oral health and hygiene routine that corresponds with your benefits, this may be the right time to come in and see us. You can request an appointment here.

All the best from,

Neil Hahn D.D.S. and the High Park Dental Care Team

Mind the Gap!

Are you hesitant to show your teeth when you smile?
Is your smile missing something?

Maybe even a full tooth!

Many people, for one reason or another, have lost a tooth. Reasons range from poor dental hygiene to any variety of accidents. Whatever the reason for the missing tooth we can repair your smile. Very often, the best way to replace your tooth is with a dental implant.

A dental implant is a small prosthetic post that is placed into the bone of the upper or lower jaw. The post functions as the root portion of a lost natural tooth and serves as an anchor for a replacement tooth. An artificial tooth is then attached to the post.

Dental implants look and feel very much like natural teeth - most often, no one other than you and your dentist will know the difference.
